As part of our work on the Sigma TV website, we've used videopublishing.com to offer all of its local productions and live TV online, through a simple Flash player. This means that any visitor can now watch Sigma TV in real time, or find and watch any show episode they might have missed.

To make this possible we worked closely with videopublishing.com developers to create customizations and extend their API to fit the specific needs of a TV station. Through this cooperation we are now in a position to also offer live video feeds from events like the Cyprus Fashion Week, the InBusiness Awards, political developments, and other breaking news.

This makes Sigma TV the most cutting edge media web site in Cyprus.

More importantly, this isn't the end of it. In the near future pre-roll advertising will be introduced to video streams, enabling monetization of the service. Geolocation tracking is possible, both for content restrictions and for advertisment targeting. Some other upcoming features we will keep up our sleeve.
